Gone for a while

Ok. I'll be at my Mum's for about two weeks, continue packing there. There will be no posts during that time. The plan is to drive to Oslo on the 6th or 7th of April. Hopefully I will be in my room at student housing on the 10th and have internet.

I should try to pack my things seriously but I'm not really motivated right now. Only the list of things I need to take with me and I need to buy is growing and growing ....

In the meantime

Just an impression of one of the Viking ships in the museum with the same name. I was in Oslo at the beginning of March for a talk and and interview. In addition, I had two more days to get an impression of Norway's capital. The Viking ship museum is really impressive but there are so many other museums I still have to visit ;)

... I will be in Oslo and this blog will hopefully contain more information. Just a few words to start with: I will start a PhD at the PGP (Physics of Geological Processes), University of Oslo in April. I still hope to find some time to explore Norway during the weekends and I guess there should be experiences and impressions to share. So long
