A good photographer never rests until he found the right spot to take a picture while at the same time being almost invisible - or: look for the crazy Russian.
This is a garnet. Well actually a Majorite which is a very special garnet only found at ultra high pressures in the earth's mantle.
Are those crystals on the first picture? And *droooool* on the 4th picture :P
